2. What Data Is Collected

This is a purely informational website. It does not offer user accounts, forms or newsletters, and does not sell anything. The only personal data processed is:

  • Anonymous usage statistics collected via Google Analytics (pages visited, approximate location at country/city level, device and browser type, duration of visit). IP addresses are anonymised.
  • Search performance data aggregated by Google Search Console (search queries that led visitors to this site). This data is aggregated and does not identify individuals.
  • Correspondence data if you choose to contact me by email (your email address and the content of your message).

3. Cookies

This website uses cookies exclusively for the anonymous visitor statistics described above. Cookies are only set after you accept them via the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are placed. The data collected is not used for advertising, profiling or any other purpose, and is not shared with third parties other than Google as processor of the analytics service.

Your consent choice is stored locally in your browser. You can change or withdraw it at any time by clearing your browser's site data, after which the banner will appear again.

4. Legal Basis

Analytics cookies are processed on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Email correspondence is processed on the basis of legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Data Retention

Analytics data is retained in accordance with Google Analytics' standard retention settings and is deleted thereafter. Email correspondence is retained only as long as necessary to handle the enquiry, unless a longer retention is required by law.

6. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Luxembourg data protection authority (CNPD, www.cnpd.lu).

7. Third-Party Services

Google Analytics and Google Search Console are services provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. For details on how Google processes data, see Google's Privacy Policy.
